Job Title: Transportation Fleet Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Fleet Manager to join our team at AL AZLAAN LOGISTICS INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating daily operations, monitoring department performance, and planning and organizing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Monitor department performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Plan and organize daily operations to meet business objectives
  • Manage finances or budget to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods
  • Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods
  • Oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Or equivalent experience
