Job Title: Transportation Fleet Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Fleet Manager to join our team at AL AZLAAN LOGISTICS INC.

Job Summary

The Transportation Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation fleet, ensuring efficient and effective management of our vehicles and goods. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Monitor and assess the performance of our transportation fleet, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Monitor Department's Performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as fuel efficiency, vehicle maintenance, and on-time delivery rates.
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement daily schedules and routes to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize delays.
  • Manage Finances or Budget: Oversee the financial aspects of our transportation fleet, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Establish and Implement Policies and Standards: Develop and enforce policies and procedures for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee Scheduling and Dispatching: Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Oversee Transportation Service Rates and Monitor Revenue: Analyze market trends and adjust transportation service rates accordingly, ensuring optimal revenue generation.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Manage the inventory of goods and materials, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Record Cargo Information, Hours of Service, Distance Travelled and Fuel Consumption: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption, using this data to inform decision-making.
