Health Information Management Clerk Position

We are currently seeking a skilled Health Information Management Clerk to join our team at Weyburn General Hospital. As a casual employee, you will be responsible for assisting in the establishment and maintenance of health information management in accordance with departmental and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of health information management policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports
• Provide administrative support to the Health Information Services department
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements

• Office Administration certificate
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Intermediate computer skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic medical terminology knowledge
• Availability to work a minimum of 2 days per week and all shifts

Working Conditions

• Casual position with no guaranteed hours
• Must be available for short shifts, short notice calls, and statutory or designated holidays
• Salary range: $20,150 to $21,550 (3-step range)
