Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Saskatchewan Health Authority - South East. This is a permanent full-time position, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

About the Role

In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care as a licensed psychiatrist, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based mental health services. Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting patients and their families navigate complex mental health issues.

About You

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong educational background in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry. A degree from an accredited institution is required, as well as a valid licensure by provincial or territorial authorities. Experience in clinical medicine, particularly in psychiatry, is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnoses for adult patients
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
