Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Saint John, NB. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in administering policies, procedures, and programs, promoting positive employee relations, and supporting the recruitment and engagement of top talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and select top candidates for various roles.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Provide HR support to management and employees, including training, development, and employee communications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data.
- Consult with management on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and compliance.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Experience in Human Resources, preferably in a similar role or industry.
- Strong decision-making skills, excellent judgment, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, management, and external partners.
- Proficiency in MS Office software and HRIS systems.
