Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at Narula's Banquet Hall Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating special events, planning menus, and supervising kitchen staff to ensure efficient and high-quality food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Coordination
    • Coordinate special events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings
    • Work closely with event planners to understand client requirements and preferences
  • Culinary Operations
    • Plan and prepare menus for events and daily operations
    • Estimate food requirements and requisition supplies
    • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient food preparation and service
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment
    • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff on food preparation, handling, and presentation
    • Ensure staff adhere to health and safety protocols
  • Quality Control
    • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
    • Monitor food quality and presentation
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Physical stamina to perform tasks in a physically demanding environment
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment. The ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail is essential.
