Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team and oversee all aspects of our tax obligations in both the U.S. and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, managing tax planning strategies
  • Work closely with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate filing of tax documents and payments
Tax Planning and Strategy:
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize our tax position in both the U.S. and Canada
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations in both countries, and assess their impact on our business
  • Provide guidance on tax implications of cross-border transactions, including transfer pricing and intercompany agreements
Audit and Risk Management:
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual tax audits and reviews
  • Respond to tax inquiries and notices from tax authorities in both the U.S. and Canada
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks, ensuring our compliance with all applicable tax laws
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, with a focus on U.S. and Canadian tax compliance
  • Experience in the SaaS or technology industry is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with cross-border tax issues, including transfer pricing and intercompany transactions

We take a market-based and data-driven approach to compensation. We leverage data from trusted third-party compensation sources to help us understand the market value of a role based on function, level, geographic location, and scope.

To comply with local legislation and ensure transparency, we share salary ranges on all job postings. Based on the required skills and qualifications, as well as the company's location, we estimate the salary range to be $130,000-$160,000 USD per year.
