About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Triple June Education Ltd. as a Child Development Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities and engage children in learning experiences, including storytelling, singing, and crafts, while guiding them in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress and identify potential learning or behavioral issues, preparing reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, community service providers, and parents to ensure a collaborative approach to child development.
  • Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children, including supervising and coordinating activities with other educators and assistants.
Requirements
  • Education: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate or equivalent.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate and a valid Criminal Record Check.
  • Experience: An asset, but not required.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
