Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Trillium Montessori Educational Company Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and education to children, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Assess the children's development and prepare a learning plan tailored to their needs.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including supervising staff and trainees.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate or equivalent.
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification.
  • Montessori Early Childhood Teacher Certificate (an asset).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
