Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Xerxes. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the execution of human resource plans and objectives for our Canadian and US production locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement human resources programs and initiatives to drive business results
  • Develop strategies and tactics to address specific human resources issues
  • Provide quality advice and interpretation to front-line managers on state employment legislation and human resources policies
  • Advising, consulting, and/or coaching in employee relations matters, including performance management, workplace investigations, and disciplinary actions
  • Facilitating the resolution of complex workplace disputes and employee behavioral concerns
  • Providing coaching and support to management with regard to recruitment and selection for both hourly and salaried staff
  • Accountable for company-wide salaried recruitment and oversight of hourly recruitment for assigned client groups
  • Providing guidance and support with regard to compensation decisions in alignment with company guidelines
  • Implementation and administration of employee programs to ensure program effectiveness and overall accountability from all stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or other related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a human resources generalist role
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a recruitment-focused role
  • Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with human resources management systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships with customers and co-workers
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to travel within North America up to 25% of the time
