Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner

At Xerxes, we are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the execution of human resource plans and objectives for our Canadian and US production locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing Human Resources programs and initiatives to drive business results
  • Developing strategies and tactics to address specific Human Resources issues
  • Providing quality advice and interpretation to front line managers related to state employment legislation and Human Resources policies
  • Advising, consulting, and/or coaching in employee relations matters, including performance management, workplace investigations, and disciplinary actions
  • Facilitating the resolution of complex workplace disputes
  • Providing coaching and support to management with regard to recruitment and selection for both hourly and salaried staff
  • Accountable for Company-wide salaried recruitment, as well as oversight of hourly recruitment for assigned client groups
  • Providing guidance and support with regard to compensation decisions in alignment with company guidelines
  • Implementation and administration of employee programs to ensure program effectiveness and overall accountability from all stakeholders
  • Providing consultative advice and guidance to business units in the following areas: workforce planning, succession planning, identifying high potential employees, and developing suitable career paths and employee development plans
  • Developing tactics and strategies to address specific Human Resources issues within client business units
  • Providing advice and assistance in the planning and implementation of business unit/client area change
  • Providing coaching, skill development, and training to business unit management staff
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting business unit Human Resources metrics

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or other related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Human Resources generalist role
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a recruitment focused role
  • Bilingual Fluency (English/Spanish) is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills including familiarity with Human Resources Management System (preferably SuccessFactors) and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships with customers and co-workers
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to travel within North America up to 25% of the time
