Accounting Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team at Black Box Consultancy Services Incorporated. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our accounting department, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions, and providing guidance to junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule events, programs, and activities, as well as work assignments and maintenance tasks.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and submit reports, ensure the accuracy of financial transactions, and maintain financial records.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of equipment and arrange for maintenance and repair work.
  • Team Collaboration: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, and work collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
