Shop Operations Manager

Shop Foreperson Job DescriptionThe Shop Foreperson will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our shop, ensuring safe and timely work execution, and implementing cost-effective maintenance programs.
- Manage and supervise shop staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Manage parts inventory and equipment records to optimize resource utilization.
- Perform other duties as required to support the success of the shop.
- Licensed Truck and Trailer Technician with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Heavy Equipment License is an asset.
- Off-road equipment knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-management and organizational skills.
- Team player mentality.
