Job Title: UI/UX Digital Designer

At Tru, we're seeking a talented UI/UX Digital Designer to join our team. As a UI/UX Digital Designer, you will play a critical role in designing intuitive, engaging user interfaces for web and digital platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver design solutions that balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead the design of engaging, user-friendly interfaces for digital platforms and websites.
  2. Collaborate closely with internal teams to understand business goals, user needs, and technical constraints to create visually appealing, functional designs.
  3. Translate user research, client feedback, and project requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  4. Apply UX best practices to design solutions that deliver optimal user experiences across devices, including desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  5. Conduct user research, develop personas, and create user journey maps to inform design decisions.
  6. Facilitate usability testing and gather feedback to iteratively improve designs.
  7. Design responsive, high-performance user interfaces that meet technical specifications for large-scale digital projects.
  8. Create and maintain style guides, design systems, and component libraries to ensure design consistency.
  9. Ensure all visual design elements align with brand guidelines while enhancing usability.
  10. Work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and accurate implementation.
  11. Provide clear design specifications and assets to development teams, ensuring smooth interaction and animation workflows.
  12. Participate in agile sprints, providing design feedback and ensuring user-centric solutions are prioritized.
  13. Present design concepts, wireframes, and prototypes to clients, incorporating feedback as needed.
  14. Engage in design workshops with clients to refine user experiences based on their objectives and user insights.
  15. Act as a design advisor, offering expertise on digital trends and user experience strategies.
  16. Optimize design elements for performance, ensuring they load quickly and deliver seamless experiences on all devices.
  17. Collaborate with QA teams to test design functionality, ensuring all visual and interactive elements perform as intended.
  18. Use analytics and heatmaps to assess design performance and make data-driven improvements.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in digital design with a focus on large-scale digital projects and e-commerce solutions.
  3. Proven expertise in UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  4. Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and mobile-first design principles.
  5. Experience collaborating with Agile project managers and development teams in an iterative design environment.
  6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present design solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Strong portfolio showcasing experience with digital design projects, including websites and e-commerce platforms.
Preferred Experience
  1. Familiarity with large-scale content management systems and e-commerce platforms.
  2. Experience designing for retail, e-commerce, or content-driven websites.
  3. Understanding of A/B testing, user analytics, and data-driven design optimization.
  4. Ability to create intuitive designs that meet both user needs and business goals.
  5. Strong team player who works well with developers, product owners, and project managers.
  6. Able to think critically about design challenges and propose innovative solutions.
  7. Focused on delivering high-quality, pixel-perfect designs.
  8. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative design environment with evolving client needs.
