Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Video Game Level Designer to join our team at Hasbro Deutschland GmbH. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating immersive and engaging game worlds that captivate players.

In this role, you will work closely with our narrative and art teams to bring the overall vision of the game to life. You will design and iterate on the layout, geography, and aesthetics of our game levels, ensuring a harmonious blend of visual storytelling and gameplay.

You will also collaborate with artists to integrate environmental storytelling elements and maintain visual consistency with the game's overarching art direction. Additionally, you will implement and refine gameplay mechanics within the game world, ensuring a holistic, emergent, and engaging player experience.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the game industry as a level designer.
  • Experience with narrative design and world design is a plus.
  • Good grasp on environmental storytelling, level design principles, and interactive world-building.
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic environment.
  • Passion for video games and a deep understanding of current industry trends.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (and French).
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of €80,000 - €100,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
