Job Title: Reservations Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Reservations Supervisor to join our team at Student Homestay Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating reservations, managing staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our reservations system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate reservations and manage staff to ensure efficient operations
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to meet business needs
  • Perform same duties as workers supervised and provide technical advice
  • Prepare and submit reports to management
  • Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Assist clients with special needs and provide excellent customer service
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure high-quality results
  • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
  • Requisition materials and supplies to support business operations
  • Provide emergency services and ensure the safety of clients and staff
  • Prepare, administer, and grade assigned work to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
  • Manage staff and assign duties to meet business needs
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Windows, and Internet applications
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of security and safety procedures, including criminal record checks
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of work conditions and physical capabilities, including attention to detail, fast-paced environment, large workload, overtime required, and tight deadlines
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of personal suitability, including accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, organized, and team player
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of experience, including experience as an asset

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Experience an asset
