About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Annual Giving Student Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing personal solicitation and stewardship outreach to SAIT alumni, donors, friends, and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with SAIT alumni, donors, friends, and students to secure financial support for student awards and various fundraising efforts across campus.
  • Communicate the goals and accomplishments of SAIT to potential donors through phone, text, and email.
  • Work collaboratively with the Annual Giving team to support other fundraising initiatives, including Giving Day and Family Campaign, through direct response solicitation strategies.
  • Participate in fundraising activities that utilize digital solicitation tools, such as ThankView, to secure, renew, and steward annual giving donors.
  • Record and receive incoming donations, as well as record personal information changes and handle confidential information with extreme care.
Requirements
  • Current SAIT student with a strong academic record.
  • One year of experience in fundraising, direct response, or customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and productively under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility, discretion, and ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office.
