Welcome to the Canadian Public Accountability Board, where we promote audit quality through proactive regulation and robust audit assessments.

We are seeking a Communications Leader to join our team, playing a strategic role in developing external and internal communications programs, including regulatory communications and disclosures, external presentations, media relations, and employee communications.

As a member of the leadership team, you will be a subject matter expert in communications best practices and an advisor to the Chief Executive Officer. You will be recognized as a leader in your profession, with a proven track record of developing and executing comprehensive communications strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, or public relations, and 15+ years of communications leadership experience. You will have exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, extensive experience with content development and editing technical copy, and a strong understanding of capital markets.

You will lead all external communication initiatives, advise CPAB's senior leadership, and anticipate and expertly handle current and emerging issues that affect the organization's reputation. You will develop and communicate a clear, consistent message for the organization, creating and distributing meaningful and impactful content to a sophisticated audience.
