Job Title: Strategic Communications Manager

Join the Canadian Red Cross as a Strategic Communications Manager and play a key role in shaping the organization's communications strategy. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated communications plans that support the organization's vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communications strategies that align with the organization's vision and goals.
  • Lead the development of communications plans, including media relations, social media, and content creation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide strategic communications guidance and support to the Provincial Operations team.
  • Represent the Communications Director and participate in various meetings as needed.

Requirements:

  • University degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five to seven years of relevant experience in developing and implementing integrated communications strategies.
  • Excellent understanding of digital ecosystems and content strategies.
  • Strong organization, analytical, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and consulting skills.
