Job Description:

As a Part-Time Professor - Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa, you will be responsible for teaching and assisting in the delivery of courses related to electrical engineering and circuit theory. Your expertise in the field will be essential in providing high-quality instruction and support to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and assist in the delivery of courses in electrical engineering and circuit theory, including lectures, labs, and tutorials.
  • Develop and implement course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Provide individualized support to students, including office hours and one-on-one meetings.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement curriculum changes.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of electrical engineering and circuit theory, and incorporate this knowledge into your teaching practices.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven teaching experience in electrical engineering and circuit theory, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
