Description

This course aims to introduce students to the role of management accounting, a role that differs from financial accounting, in the decision-making process. The main topics covered include cost determination of products and services, cost behavior, relevant costs, standard costs, budgets, accounting by responsibility center, and cost allocation. These topics are approached from a management perspective to enable students to understand analysis techniques and problem-solving skills encountered by managers.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants should have a master's degree (preferably a Ph.D.) in accounting. They should demonstrate recent professional experience in the field of the course, including recent training in management accounting. They should also have teaching experience, ideally in the field of the course. A professional designation (CA, CMA, or CGA) is required.
