Distribution Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Distribution Operations Manager to join our team at Uline. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse operations, ensuring seamless execution of our distribution processes.
Key Responsibilities- Warehouse Operations Management
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound processes.
- Ensure accurate and efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of products.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse employees to achieve exceptional customer service and same-day shipping goals.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Process Improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and implement solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
- Experience
- 10+ years of hands-on management experience in large-scale distribution centers.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving process improvements.
- Skills
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with performance metrics and warehouse management systems (WMS).
