Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing guidance and assistance to Associates and Managers within the organization on Associate Relations matters.

About the Role
  • Acts as a business partner to support and guide Managers and Senior Leaders in person or virtual as needed on Associate Relations matters.
  • Provides advice and counsel to managers and senior leaders on performance management, leaves of absence, workplace accommodations, investigation outcomes, and attendance management and return to work processes.
  • Advises Managers on disciplinary and/or termination situations.
Main Responsibilities
  • Provides advice and counsel to managers and senior leaders on GoodLife's internal policies and provincial Employment Standards legislation and interpretation, including proper administration for all provinces.
  • Produces letters and other documentation for Associate disciplinary issues, termination, accommodations, and other situations as required.
  • Supports and guides Associates in person or virtual as needed.
  • Responds to Associate questions and assisting with work-related concerns, workplace accommodation requests, safety concerns and other situations.
  • Attends clubs or offices in person as needed.
Requirements
  • Subject Matter Expert in employment relations matters.
  • Acts as the main resource and subject-matter expert for all Human Resources legislation and interpretation.
  • Ensures compliance with all provincial employment standards legislation and works with Managers to update related policies and processes as the need arises.
