Assistant Manager

B.C is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Operations and Finance to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supervising staff, training, and implementing operational procedures. You will also be responsible for balancing cash, completing balance sheets, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise staff and train them to meet the needs of the organization.
- Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
- Conduct performance reviews and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Cost products and services, and organize and maintain inventory.
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, and participate in marketing plans and implementation.
- Leading/instructing individuals, addressing customers' complaints or concerns, and providing customer service.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
- 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Electronic cash register, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word, and Point of sale system skills.
- Criminal record check and reference required.
- Own transportation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Free parking available.
- Support for newcomers and refugees, including assistance with immediate settlement needs and social and labour market integration.
- Support for Indigenous people, including participation in government or community programs and initiatives.
