Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage staff and assign duties to ensure efficient store operations
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold, including implementing price and credit policies
  • Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring that our store remains competitive
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff, ensuring that our team is well-trained and motivated
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, including managing inventory and maintaining a clean and safe store environment
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and vendors
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
Work Environment:

Our store is located in an urban area, and our team is committed to providing a positive and inclusive work environment. As an Assistant Manager, you will be expected to work a 40-hour week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
