Route Driver Shred Specialist

Job Title: Route Driver Shred
About the Role:
Stericycle is seeking a skilled Route Driver Shred to join our team. As a Route Driver Shred, you will be responsible for providing industry-leading service levels to clients while handling all customer document destruction needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information
- Perform pre/post-trip checks, driver check-in on assigned truck, prior to leaving or closing for the day
- Operate equipment in a safe/efficient manner to minimize injury risk & equipment damage
- Comply with all local, provincial and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service
- Complete and maintain DOT logs when applicable
- Manage assigned routes ensuring customers' confidential material collected and serviced in a timely and accurate manner
- Handle and respond to all customer problems and inquiries expediently and in the best interest of both the customer and Shred-it
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience, preferably in driving a commercial motor vehicle or box trucks (required)
- Commercial Driver's License Required: Class DZ with an excellent driving record
- Driver's abstract up to date
- Available to drive in downtown Toronto
