Job Title: Route Driver Shred

About the Role:

Stericycle is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Route Driver to join our team. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for providing industry-leading service levels to clients while handling all customer document destruction needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information
  • Perform pre/post-trip checks, driver check-in on assigned truck, prior to leaving or closing for the day
  • Operate equipment in a safe/efficient manner to minimize injury risk & equipment damage
  • Comply with all local, provincial and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service
  • Complete and maintain DOT logs when applicable
  • Manage assigned routes ensuring customers' confidential material collected and serviced in a timely and accurate manner
  • Handle and respond to all customer problems and inquiries expediently and in the best interest of both the customer and Shred-it

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience, preferably in driving a commercial motor vehicle or box trucks (required)
  • Commercial Driver's License Required: Class DZ with an excellent driving record
  • Driver's abstract up to date
  • Available to drive in downtown Toronto
