Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Assistant to provide exceptional support to our Executive Director/Executive Medical Director. This is a unique opportunity to join the Fraser Health team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Executive Director, including drafting correspondence, generating reports, and responding to inquiries.
  • Manage shifting appointment calendars, coordinate meetings, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Coordinate workflow, develop new work methods, and implement procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Assist with budget reviews, investigate variances, and provide status updates to the Executive Director.
  • Perform record management duties, including filing, indexing, and conducting file searches.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 plus graduation from a recognized administrative or secretarial program.
  • Five years' recent related experience in a large complex business or healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications at an advanced level.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deal effectively with others.
