Restaurant Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at The Cellar Pub & Grill. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback to improve performance
- Set staff work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Supervise staff and ensure they are following company policies and procedures
- Train staff on new procedures and policies
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a restaurant management role
- Responsible Beverage Service Certificate and Food Safety Certificate
- Point of sale system experience
- Food and beverages industry experience
- Fast-paced environment and physically demanding work conditions
- Accurate, client-focused, dependable, organized, and team player
- Gratuities
- 30 to 40 hours per week
- English language
