We are currently seeking a talented Level Designer to join our team at Cloud Chamber, where we are developing the next BioShock game. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about creating engaging and immersive game worlds.

About the Role

This position involves designing and building level layouts, collaborating with narrative designers to create cohesive experiences, and working closely with writing and systems teams to ensure a unified experience. The successful candidate will have experience working in professional game development environments and be proficient in 3D world editing and scripting tools, particularly UE5.

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with level and narrative designers to craft memorable player experiences.
  2. Design and develop systemic world moments and bespoke quests that breathe life into the game.
  3. Work with the writing and systems teams to ensure consistency throughout the game.

Requirements

  • Experience in a professional game development setting.
  • Strong design portfolio showcasing content examples.
  • Familiarity with UE5 or similar game development software.
