About the Role:
The Director, Financial Planning and Analysis will be a key business partner responsible for driving strategic financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to inform business decisions at Katz Group Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
- Provide actionable insights and analytics to senior management to inform strategic business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
- Lead the development and implementation of financial planning and analysis processes and tools.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis to support business decision-making.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks and opportunities to drive business growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- University degree in Finance, Commerce, or Accounting.
- Professional accounting designation, CPA, or MBA Finance and Marketing required.
- 6-8 years relevant finance management experience.
- Sound retail experience required, and pharmacy industry knowledge preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to urgent requests.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
