About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team at Mattamy Homes Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial planning and analysis support to our business leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business strategy and drive growth.
  • Lead the development of annual financial plans and budgets for our business segments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost savings initiatives.
  • Support the development of financial reporting and dashboarding to provide real-time visibility into business performance.
  • Coach and develop a team of financial analysts to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Requirements
  • University degree in Finance or Accounting, with a professional designation (CPA, CFA, CBV) preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong background in financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis tools such as OneStream or Hyperion is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of financial analysts.
