Job Summary

This role is part of our Canadian Wealth Management Operations team and involves working with corporate actions events. As a Corporate Actions Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and creating announcements for various corporate events. You will also receive instructions for elections on voluntary reorganizations and ensure the accuracy of capturing details and tendering instructions for voluntary corporate events from various sources.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately gather corporate event details from various external primary and secondary sources to mitigate operational and market risk.
- Monitor throughout the corporate event life cycle to ensure any changes to details or expiry extension are captured and communicated to business lines in a prompt manner.
- Follow defined processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness of publication and notification of voluntary corporate event details
- Collaborate effectively with Corporate Actions managers to escalate and resolve complex corporate events
- Process elections for voluntary corporate events through workflow systems and process instructions in Broadridge in a timely and effective manner to mitigate market exposure.

About You

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in operations and wealth management. You have experience in a fast-paced environment and have worked with similar systems and tools such as ServiceLink and Broadridge Terminal Services. You have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and can work effectively in a team environment.

Benefits

We offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes a salary of approximately $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus bonuses and flexible benefits. We also offer opportunities for professional development and career growth within our organization.

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in operations and wealth management
- Strong understanding of corporate actions events and processes
- Experience with workflow systems and tools such as ServiceLink and Broadridge Terminal Services
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
