We are seeking a skilled Corporate Actions Specialist to join our team in Toronto, Canada. This role is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for reviewing and creating announcements for various corporate events.

As a Corporate Actions Specialist, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy of capturing details and tendering instructions for voluntary corporate events from various sources. Your efforts will focus on mitigating operational and market risk, while also collaborating effectively with Corporate Actions managers to escalate and resolve complex corporate events.

This role offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a salary of $85,000 per year, competitive bonuses, flexible benefits, and opportunities for career growth and professional development. If you have experience in Wealth Management Canadian Operations workflow and processing systems, including ServiceLink and Broadridge Terminal Services, we encourage you to apply.

The ideal candidate will possess strong PC skills, including proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. A good understanding of functions within Wealth Management Canada Operations and the financial industry is also desirable. Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering corporate event details from external primary and secondary sources
  • Monitoring corporate event life cycles to ensure accurate and timely publication of details
  • Collaborating with Corporate Actions managers to escalate and resolve complex corporate events
  • Processing elections for voluntary corporate events through workflow systems

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a fast-paced operations environment
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Good understanding of Wealth Management Canada Operations workflow and processing systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
