Job Description

The Capital Asset Financial Analyst will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records related to capital assets. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in month and year-end accounting, capital accruals, and carry over requirements
  • Preparing and maintaining monthly reporting for each asset, outlining progress on business initiatives
  • Ensuring approved budgets are maintained, verified, and variances reported on a monthly basis
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance our current system of reporting and data gathering
  • Maintaining a database of all building audits, building conditions, and environmental reports
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in an accounting-related role
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
  • Working towards CPA certification preferred
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Detailed-oriented with the ability to adapt to change
  • Excellent communication, organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills
