About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join our team at Honda Canada Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for a financial professional to provide critical support to our Sales and Marketing department.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will work closely with our Financial Control team to prepare reports, reconciliations, analysis, and provide financial management support to various internal and external affiliates. You will play a key role in ensuring all budgets and objectives are aligned.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive management and decision-making support, participating in Monthly program meetings, budget review meetings, and risks & opportunities document;
- Prepare simulations & analysis for various levels of management;
- Prepare monthly executive summaries, including financial review summaries and executive presentations;
- Support assigned departments/groups with professional financial management support, such as Monthly expense variance analysis (Opex), identifying trends/analysis in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement, and creating/improving business processes and reports;
- Support business projects – any departmental initiatives that have financial implications requiring FC involvement to ensure accurate costing and reporting;
- Maintain a solid foundation in Excel & MS Office; SAP experience is an asset;
- Foster a team-building approach of management and department - shares results.
Requirements
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) required or actively pursuing;
- 5 years of working experience; preference for experience in accounting or financial role;
- Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
