About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Lakes of Muskoka Cottage Brewery. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our brewery, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and supervise staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
  • Recommend personnel actions, including hiring and promotions
  • Prepare production reports and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, establishing methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Clean and maintain the draft beer system
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role in a brewery or manufacturing environment
  • Proven track record of improving productivity and product quality
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Forklift Operator Certification, First Aid Certificate, and HACCP Certification
  • Knowledge of Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
