Senior Systems Analyst

The Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Information Management and Technology department, you will be responsible for evaluating, designing, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting information management and technology solutions, projects, and services across our organization and its external clients.
You will collaborate with clinical and business stakeholders throughout the province to support the organization's strategic mission, vision, and goals. Your expertise will be essential in leveraging IT applications to improve patient care and outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology, business analysis, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technology or business analysis role. You will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

About You- Strong understanding of healthcare information systems and terminology
- Experience with PowerShell, SQL Management Studio, or Microsoft Report Builder
- Knowledge of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Project Management (PMP)
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in a complex healthcare environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Permanent, Full-time Position; 75 Hours Bi-weekly
$36.33 - $45.42 Hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
