Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Analyst to join our team at Dare Foods Limited. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Role

The IT Systems Analyst will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, evaluate scope, and translate business needs into technical specifications. This includes creating process maps, flow diagrams, and workflows to visualize IT workflows and develop technical documentation related to IT systems.

This role involves performing data analysis and modeling to support business decision-making, identifying opportunities for IT process improvement, and collaborating in the development and execution of IT test plans and test cases. The successful candidate will also be responsible for regular communication with stakeholders to present deliverables, provide status updates, resolve issues, and review updated plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Elicit clear business requirements with a focus on IT solutions and evaluate scope considering desired outcomes
  • Active management of scope and requirement updates to balance changing business needs with delivery solutions
  • Understand IT business processes and create process map/flow diagrams to visualize IT workflows
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
  • Prepare IT business requirements documents, workflows, training, and other documentation related to IT systems, as required
  • Perform IT data analysis and modeling to support business decision-making and identify opportunities for IT process improvement
  • Collaborate in the development and execution of IT test plans and test cases
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Computer Systems, Information Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent years of experience)
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of business analysis experience in SAP technology projects
  • Background in CPG, Distribution, Supply Chain, or Retail industry is preferred
  • Certification as a Certified Business Analysis Professional is an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required (Word, SharePoint & PowerPoint, Visio is an asset)
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, highly organized
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills
