We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Child and Family Therapist to join our team at The Phoenix Centre for Children and Families. As a key member of our therapy team, you will work closely with children, youth, and families to provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for clients
- Provide evidence-based therapy interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, family therapy, and play therapy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community partners
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., clinical psychology, social work, counseling)
- Registration with a relevant professional association (e.g., Canadian Psychological Association, Ontario College of Social Workers)
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with children, youth, and families in a therapeutic setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
