We are committed to advancing our understanding of the molecular and cellular mechanisms that regulate neural stem cell reprogramming and differentiation.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Masters or PhD student in the Department of Cellular & Molecular Medicine to join our research team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology, cell biology, or a related field, and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct molecular, cellular, biochemical, and behavioral experiments using a variety of techniques, including transgenic mouse models, in vivo neurodegenerative disease models, human iPSC-derived NPC culture, and single cell RNA-seq approaches.
  • Collaborate with our research team to design and implement experiments, and analyze data.
  • Present research findings at internal and external meetings, and contribute to the preparation of research papers and reports.

Requirements

  • Experience in molecular biology, cell biology, or a related field, including techniques such as cloning, mutagenesis, PCR, cell line or primary cell culture, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex scientific information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement experiments, and analyze data.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Laboratory experience in tissue culture and small animal experiments.
