Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Assistant to join our team at Barrie's Special Care Homes. As a Caregiver Assistant, you will provide personalized support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring the comfort and dignity of our clients
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation
  • Assist with medication administration and other healthcare-related tasks
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
