About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Barrie's Special Care Homes. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide medication administration and assist with feeding and hydration.
  • Engage residents in regular exercise and activities, promoting physical and mental well-being.
  • Collect specimens and maintain accurate records.
Work Environment

As a Personal Support Worker at Barrie's Special Care Homes, you will work in a dynamic and supportive environment that values teamwork and resident-centered care. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and their families.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
