About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager for a 12-month contract with our client. As a key member of their team, you will play a crucial role in preparing financial statements and presentations for the board on a quarterly and annual basis.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of MD&A and financial statements: You will be responsible for ensuring that all financial information is accurate and up-to-date, and that it meets the client's requirements.
  • Coordinating with other teams: You will work closely with other departments to ensure that accounting records are completed on time and that all necessary documents are prepared.
  • Reviewing and revising financial statements: You will review and revise financial statements to ensure their completeness and accuracy, and make any necessary adjustments.
  • Maintaining accurate working papers: You will ensure that all working papers are accurate and up-to-date, and that they meet the client's requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in financial management, preferably in a public company setting
  • Strong experience in reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this role is between $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

This role is based in the Greater Toronto Area and requires the candidate to be permitted to work in Canada.
