Job Title: Supervisor, Cleaning and Maintenance

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor, Cleaning and Maintenance to join our team at Compass Group Canada. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance operations of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates for cleaning and maintenance operations.
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services required, such as painting, repair work, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Maintain financial records and receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in cleaning and maintenance, with a focus on supervisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures, including safety protocols and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Basic security clearance and a criminal record check.
