Job Title: Supervisor, Cleaning and Maintenance

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supervisor, Cleaning and Maintenance to join our team at Compass Group Canada.

Job Summary:

The Supervisor, Cleaning and Maintenance will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of cleaning staff, ensuring that all facilities are clean and safe for our clients. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services required
  • Maintain financial records
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other departments
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Basic security clearance
  • Criminal record check
Work Environment:

This role will be based in a long-term care center, working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be required to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks.
