We're seeking a skilled Gas Fitter Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Service Department, you'll be responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting temporary heating solutions. Your expertise will ensure we provide high-quality and safe equipment to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and service construction heaters and related heating equipment
- Perform all work according to our Safety program
- Develop apprentice Gasfitters if required
- Work as part of a team to achieve corporate and branch goals
- Drive to and from construction/client sites in a safe manner
- Other duties assigned as needed
Requirements:
- A 'A' ticket Gasfitter certification
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience working with propane is a plus
- Strong trouble-shooting skills and a desire to solve complex problems
- Adaptable to working independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Comfortable working outdoors in any weather
- Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
