Job Title: Air Freight Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Air Freight Coordinator to join our team at Randstad Canada. As an Air Freight Coordinator, you will be responsible for the daily management and coordination of air shipments, establishing and coordinating schedules with carriers, and providing quotations of services to our customers.

Responsibilities:

Daily management and coordination of air shipments
Establish and coordinate schedules with carriers and tender shipments to the airlines
Provide and track quotations of services to our customers
Advise clients on transportation and payment methods, including the issuance of freight bills and invoices to brokers and/or customer
Filing of invoices, orders, PODs, and collect payments for the same
Coordinate pickup and delivery orders with trucking companies, airlines and/or bonded facilities
Prompt and accurate communication with customers and carriers

Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in Air imports / exports
Fluent in English (spoken and written), French an asset
Knowledge of North American Carrier Network and cross-border shipping requirements an asset
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Experience with CargoWise is considered an asset
Strong organization skills, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork, and analytical skills
