Job Title: Logistics Coordinator - Ocean

Our client, a growing international freight forwarding company, is seeking a dynamic Logistics Coordinator to handle ocean imports and some exports.

Responsibilities:
• Arrange ocean transportation and facilitate the movement of goods based on customer demands.
• Ensure accuracy on shipments and minimize risk of delay.
• Provide and track quotations of services to our customers.
• Advise clients on transportation and payment methods, including the issuance of freight bills and invoices to brokers and/or customers.
• Filing of invoices, orders, PODs, and collect payments for the same.
• Track and trace vendor orders and report any anomalies.
• Collect, audit and accurately enter carrier qualification information.
• Arrange 'white glove' services for customers, ensuring proper unpacking, packing, transportation of sensitive equipment.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery orders with carriers.
• Prompt and accurate communication with customers and carriers.
• Various other duties as may be required.

Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience in logistics, ocean imports.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written), French an asset.
• Knowledge of North American Carrier Network and cross-border shipping requirements an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with CargoWise is considered an asset.
• Strong organization skills, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork, and analytical skills.
