CBSA Transport Guard Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a CBSA Transport Guard at the Immigration Holding Centre in Etobicoke. As a CBSA Transport Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and secure transportation of individuals who have arrived at the airport and are experiencing immigration complications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property
  • Escort individuals within the facility and ensure their safe transportation to and from various off-site locations
  • Monitor and report on the behavior of detainees
  • Conduct regular foot patrols of indoor and outdoor facilities
  • Utilize security software and equipment to maintain a secure environment
  • Generate daily incident reports
Requirements:
  • Valid Ontario security guard license
  • Experience in healthcare is considered an asset
  • Valid and current First Aid/CPR certificate from a WSIB-recognized training provider
  • Canadian citizenship or 5-years permanent residence status
  • Minimum high school diploma from a recognized education provider
  • Ability to pass a Public Works Clearance and a Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Available to work flexible hours, in a full-time or part-time capacity
